*** Mateusz Wodzinski, known on Twitter as @Exen, a resident of the tiny village of Lapicze located a mere kilometre away from the border with Belarus, buys used 4x4 vehicles in Poland and delivers them to Ukrainian soldiers. He first donated his own Suzuki Grand Vitara and then came to the conclusion that one car is not enough. He decided to use his popularity on Twitter and launched a public fundraiser. He quickly raised more than PLN 100 000, bought further offroad vehicles and delivered them to the frontline. The Ukrainians are very grateful for this seemingly small help – Mateusz said today. Late afternoon in his backyard, he is finishing painting the 7th car – Nissan Navara – which will be taken to Lviv on Saturday (13.08) and handed over to Ukraine’s 3rd regiment of special operations. The 8th car will go to the frontline the following weekend. The fundraiser continues. Photo Michal Kosc / AGENCJA WSCHOD
